About DS

As the founder of Delightfully Scrumptious, I've always had a creative inclination, whether it's dreaming up random comedy sketches, dabbling in creative writing, or - as I've spent many an hour doing - messing about with graphic design, learning by a process of trial and error.

I'm a highly visual person with a strong appreciation for optical delights (both natural and man-made) that fill the senses with splendour, whether it's through flowing contours, bold reflections or a subtle blend of colours.

I'm big on colour (something you'll notice when browsing the store), being a firm believer that we humans should embrace it to the fullest extent. Many species only see the world in shades of grey. We, however, possess colour receptors in our eyes. Let's use them!

Eager not to be a one-trick pony, I have no wish to forever pursue the same design theme. As such, here you'll find complementary pastel shades on one item, but then bold contrasting colours elsewhere in the store. Variety is the spice of life, and often I will embark on one design without a clear plan of where I'll end up.

My aim is to bring products to you that are useful and practical but also bring a visual sense of delight, in much the same way that a favourite dish can excite your tastebuds!

This, combined with DS being my initials, resulted in my choice of company name.
